Polini Motori celebrates the success of the Thor engines at the 12th edition of the WPC 2025 – FAI World Paramotor Championship in France
Polini Motori is proud to announce the extraordinary success of the Polini Thor engine achieved at the WPC 2025 – FAI World Paramotor Championship in Francia, disputed in Chambley (France) from Aust 24th to 31st. The events, world point of reference for the paramotor, attracted pilots and enthusiasts from all over the world, turning the Lorena region the ideal stage to celebrate fly freedom.
In this unique and highly competition level, Polini Motori confirms its leading role with Polini Thor engines, that stood out for their reliability performance and consumption optimization, thus consolidating its position in the fly of powered paragliding.
PL1 category (Singl-seat trike) has been dominated by Thor 202 conquering the entire podium:
- Michael Merle – FRA – Thor 202
- Frédéric Mallard – FRA – Thor 202
- Thibault Laine – FRA – Thor 202
This triumph was made possible by the outstanding performance of the Thor 202 engine, which combines power and precision with exceptional fuel efficiency, proving to be a decisive factor in the competition trials.
Michael Merle’s victory, claiming the World Champion title after already securing the French national title, is the perfect example of what happens when a pilot’s talent meets Polini technology.
Polini also celebrates the prestigious second place in the PL2 (Two-seat Trike) category, achieved by the Czech team Lubos Halama & Anna Halamova with the Thor 250 engine further confirming the versatility and competitiveness of the entire Thor engine range.
