Open Slalom Polish Championship

Polini Motori and Thor engines absolute protagonists of the Open Slalom Polish Championship

Polini Motori success goes on, pluri-titles at international level.

From Tuesday 18th to Sunday 23rd of August the  5th Open Slalom Polish Championship took place in Jutrosin.

Many competitions have been canceled due to the COVID emergency, so the best pilots coming from all over the Europe took part to this event, making this competition the most important for the Slalom category.

38 pilots competed in 22 manches, often conditioned by difficult weather conditions, with very technical and demanding tasks.

Thor 250 has dominated the event, with about 75% of pilots and 6 pilots between the first 7 positions  thus exalting the pilots’ skill and granting to the visitors an adrenaline show.

Polini wants to congratulate with the world Champion, Alex Mateos, who even this time imposed himself by wining 20 stages of the 22 disputed, affirming himself as champion of his category.

Congratulation to Nicolas Aubert too, on the second step of the podium.

Marie Mateos was 6th, a woman between the best men pilots.

Very good result for Lorenzo Mallegni too, new Polini Thor’s pilot: despite a spectacular dive in the water because of the wing collapse (without any bad consequence for the pilot)  he has demonstrated his very good qualities by qualifying  at the 5th place.
